Terms of Service

Last updated: 05 September 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MediBookHome โ€” including our website, doctor appointment booking, home nursing services, and at-home lab test collection โ€” you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Platform Description

MediBookHome is a platform that connects patients with (a) qualified doctors for appointment bookings, (b) verified nursing staff for home-based nursing care, and (c) lab technicians for at-home sample collection, currently serving Jodhpur, Rajasthan. MediBookHome facilitates these connections and payments but is not itself a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic laboratory. MediBookHome does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

MediBookHome is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 112 or 102 immediately. Do not use MediBookHome to seek emergency medical help. See our Medical Disclaimer for more information.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account independently.

  • You may book services on behalf of a family member, including a minor or an elderly dependent, provided you (the account holder) are at least 18 years old, you have the authority to consent to care on their behalf, and you accurately provide their details at booking.

  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

4. Doctor Appointment Bookings

MediBookHome verifies doctor credentials before listing. However, we do not guarantee the quality of medical care provided. Patients should exercise independent judgment when choosing a doctor. Appointments are subject to doctor availability and confirmation.

5. Home Nursing Services

  • Nursing staff on MediBookHome are background-verified before onboarding. Registration details are recorded on file.

  • Some services (including injections and IV/intravenous procedures) legally require a valid doctor's prescription. You must upload a valid prescription where the platform requests one before such a booking can proceed. MediBookHome and its nursing staff reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service if a required prescription is missing, unclear, or appears invalid.

  • For procedures that carry medical risk, you will be asked to provide explicit digital consent before the visit is confirmed. This consent confirms you understand the procedure and its risks and authorise it to be performed at your specified location.

  • Nursing staff act within their professional scope of practice and training. They may decline to perform a procedure they assess as unsafe under the circumstances presented, and will advise you to seek in-clinic or emergency care where appropriate.

  • Visits are secured by a two-step OTP process: one shared with your nurse on arrival to begin the visit, and one shared on completion. Do not share your OTP with anyone other than the verified nurse assigned to your booking.

  • Used sharps and clinical waste generated during a home visit are collected by the attending nurse and disposed of by MediBookHome in accordance with applicable bio-medical waste handling practices; they are not to be discarded in household waste.

6. Home Lab Test Collection

  • Sample collection at your home is performed by a verified lab technician using sealed, single-use collection kits.

  • Collected samples are transported to our partner diagnostic laboratories for processing. Report turnaround times shown at booking are estimates and may vary based on the specific test and lab workload.

  • If a sample is found to be insufficient, haemolysed, or otherwise unsuitable for testing after collection, we will arrange a free re-collection visit at the earliest available slot.

  • Some tests require fasting or other preparation. It is your responsibility to follow the preparation instructions shown at booking; MediBookHome is not responsible for inaccurate results caused by a failure to follow preparation instructions.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely via HDFC SmartGateway. Cancellation and refund terms โ€” including for home nursing visits and lab test collections โ€” are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Provide false medical, prescription, or personal information

  • Abuse, harass, or threaten doctors, nurses, lab technicians, or other users

  • Request a nurse or lab technician to perform a service outside their professional scope

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform

9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

MediBookHome is not liable for outcomes of medical consultations, nursing procedures, lab results, missed appointments, or technical disruptions beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the relevant booking. You agree to indemnify MediBookHome against claims arising from inaccurate information you provide, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of the platform.

10. Assumption of Risk & Patient Liability for Adverse Events

Home nursing, physiotherapy, and lab-sample-collection procedures carry inherent medical risk, including but not limited to adverse drug reactions, injection-site complications, fainting or loss of consciousness, and other unforeseen medical events. By booking any such service, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

If an adverse event occurs during or as a result of a booked service โ€” including, without limitation, a patient losing consciousness, an incorrect medication or injection being administered, or any other injury, complication, or mishap โ€” responsibility and liability for the resulting harm, loss, or damage rests solely with the patient (or, where the patient is a minor or dependent, the account holder who booked the service on their behalf). MediBookHome disclaims all liability for such events. MediBookHome will not compensate, reimburse, or otherwise pay for any loss, injury, medical expense, or damage arising from an adverse event during a booked service, and no clause in these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Medical Disclaimer shall be construed to create such an obligation. This clause applies notwithstanding Section 9 above and takes precedence over it in the event of any conflict specific to adverse events during service delivery.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that endangers our staff or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Force Majeure

MediBookHome is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, network or power outages, or public health emergencies.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of MediBookHome are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.
